Need a bit of advice

Well have had my little guy/girl for a few weeks now. at first no problem holding it never tried to get away or anything, now alwyas trying to run away when i try to pick it up. i still eventualy pick it up but then the little monster starts opening its mouth trying to scare me doesnt work lol. i try and hold it a few times aday. any suggestion how to get him/her to calm down. its been a long time since i had any type of lizard so a bit rusty. plus how do u post pictures

He will calm down in time, he just has to get use to you, that's it. Just be patient and keep handling him every day, he'll come around. You can put a T-shirt that you wore into his tank. It helps him to get use to your smell.

The best thing would be to just keep picking ur beardie up only consistency will wind him her down and get the beardie used to you...also just the fact that the beardie is younger could just be energetic like mine try even wrapping him her up in a blanket that usually makes them feel secure and will calm them down

I appreciate the advise. my bearded is still so skittish of me picking it up even tries to scare me by opening its mouth, its kind of funny seeing that. hope he/she calms down soon.
