nebulizer treatments

My beardie Mojo is going to do nebulizer treatments for her pneumonia. Can anyone explain how to do these treatments? I watched something on youtube for snakes where they put the snake into a plastic tub and then had the tubing drop in through a hole. Is that how everyone else has done this? should there be a few additional holes for air or will that make the treatment less effective?

All suggestions regarding neb treatments appreciated!!!

I really dont know. and I'm sure someone could say I'm wrong or not. But what about using a peds mask and holding it up to your beardie's face? That is how I would assume it would be done. I mean I know they aren't people, but when my kids were babies we did and still do that all the time for asthma. And the mask is small and I would think that their whole head would just fit in the mask...but I have a 7 year old dragon so if yours is little that probably wouldn't work....Gezzz I hope someone else can help. Sorry he is sick.

thank you! that's exactly what I needed. my big question was if a small tub was appropriate and how much I needed to leave for ventilation without compromising the meds.

is your Puff the same Puff from a few years ago on here with fatty liver?

yes. I hope your Puff's good health continues!!! thanks for the help. I melted the medicine canister on my nebulizer sanitizing it in boiling water!!! no I have to go to the med supply store in the morning...

the vet gave dosage. the name of it starts with an A but is nit amoxicillian

Normally they prescribe the treatments for a week or so. Hopefully you will begin to see some improvement in a few days.
