Nails Fell Off?

So I noticed the other night that my tiny dragon, Chaplin, has lost two nails on his front foot. They don't seem to be bothering him, and a new nail looks like it's growing out. My theory is there was damage to the nails before I got him and the damage has just grown out. I'm soaking it in a diluted betadine solution every day in case it's an infection.

I'm reluctant to go to a vet, mainly because my vet tends to agree with what I say I think it is rather than form his own opinion.

Hi there, it looks like they are going to heal up fine. Just keep an eye on them to see that nothing ends up looking infected, but looks like so far so good.

Alright, great. I'll keep up the diluted betadine soak one a day for the next week or two to be sure.

Update: What looked like new nail growth also fell off, resulting in a bit of a pit where nails used to be. I keep them clean, and nothing has changed and she (oops, was wrong before) isn't bothered by them aside from the fact that they were the main climbing claws and she can't hold on as well now.

It's good that it doesn't seem to be bothering her. I agree with AHBD that as long as the fingers are clean and don't look infected, they should heal up. The nail may never grow back however. My dragon is missing a few nails too. Other than sometimes having trouble climbing (as you mentioned) it doesn't seem to be a big issue.
