The substrate of my 55gal tank is 75% slate tile and 25% repti-carpet. The slate tiles did an amazing job at filing Spots nails, but it looks like it might have done TOO good of a job. Some of her nails now look quite short. Is it possible for the slate tiles to do too good of a job?
I took out the tiles today. Not because of this, but because of sanitary issues (I think she might have pinworms and am getting a fecal done tomorrow)... Also didn't seem like a bad precaution after noticing her nails today.
