mystery bugs! HELP ASAP

i got an order of crickets in today and wen i opened the box crickets jumped out and they looked goood but then i noticed these black thingies that clearly were not crickets they kind ov looked like centipedes but smaller and have like a black back? what are they and can i feed them to my bearded dragon? please help asap

They're called Dermestid beetles i think - they eat the dead remains of the crickets. I read a post a while back saying not to feed them to your beardie

Fluker Farms has great customer service from my experience. I feel sure if you contact them they will make things right. I know that does not answer the original question but I thought I would stick my nose in. By the way I am thinking if i have read right in the past you do not want to let your beardie eat these bugs.

They r just cleaner bugs - just pick them out and throw them away

While it may not be recommended to feed them the dermestid larvae [ which will turn into little black beetles ] they won't harm your beardie if it accidentally eats a few. Been there and done that....just so you don't get over-worried.

My crocodile gecko has eaten one...quite voraciously. I accidentally dropped one in her cage when I picked up an egg crate. She ate it in seconds! :lol:

I noticed them too.There are also little hairy worm-things in the boxes too,they give me the creeps!!
