Okay so i didnt start this when they were babies or when i just got them, mostly because i didnt know about any of these sites or even how to use them and i still mostly dont. Some of you my not like that fact that they live together but ive been told many times and by a vet that i could house them together so, im going to start telling you guys their little story of ADVENTURE! Their story begins with me in my Horticulture class and seeing the biology teachers birds in the green house room. I used to have to birds and that made me miss them so of course when i got home I had to ask for some birds. Of course my mother said no before i could finish asking and i asked again. She told me to ask my step father, he said i should get a lizard instead. He wanted me to get geckos. My mom wanted me to get an iguana. I heard from a friend that bearded dragons were really cool. Well one day while I was at a ball game with my best friend my mother calls me to tell me that she bought me TWO bearded dragons. I came home and there was a ten gallon tank in my room with two tiny little lizards in it! One was light (luna), the other was dark (techo). Well after having them for about a month Techo had gotten out in the middle of the night! i was so sad and worried with having cats running around the house, two of which were always eatting frogs, mice, bunnies, etc. Not to mention just getting two puppys the month before my lizards lol. Well i changed Luna's name to something else because it made me miss Techo. Then i Found Techo and decided i wanted to change (Luna's) name again. She is now Myrnin (from Morganville Vampires). Techo hadnt grown at all.
So i was really worried about his health, found him by my xbox. It took awhile but he finally started to grow but Myrnin was still a lot bigger than him
he got a lot healthier and now he is bigger than her. I made a mistake thou. I had two adult bearded dragons living in one 40 gal tank. I didnt and still dont know a whole lot about beardies but ive been looking things up and getting advice. So it shouldnt have been a surprise when he bit off part of her tail :/ I took her to the vet and did as they said. Im still working on getting the bigger tank all fixed up but they are seperated til her tail is completely better. The new tank is 5' long and its going to have quite a few hiding and climbing places with seperate feeding bowls Still working on it only cause caulk takes so long to dry :/ Well now that y'all are updated from now on these should be shorter
