Many of you already know I'm having custom twin stacked vivs built for me by a carpenter friend. I thought I'd share a bit more about the eventual setup. Also, I know how much you love pics of everything, so I intentionally omitted those just to tease you! BWAHAHAHA. hehe. Anyway, the construction is FINALLY nearing its end, so I give it two MAYBE three more weeks before all the wiring is together, everything is stained, sealed, fiddled with and ready to snap pics. :twisted:
Enclosures:
(2) 4x2x2 enclosures stacked
(1) 4x2x18 two-doored cabinet beneath for feeder bin storage.
Lighting(per viv):
(1) reptisun 10.0 UVB flourescent tube
(1) bright white flood (wattage to be determined)
(1) CHE
Other nifties that probably aren't needed (bwahahaha):
(1) auto-dimming timer for the UVB's to simulate sunrise/sunset
(1) flush mounted switch box built into the front which will hold:
(2) dimmers; one for each CHE to regulate temps individually
(1) Timer, which will time both spots and both CHE's
(1) 5' length of FlexWatt heat tape in the base cabinets to regulate heat for the feeders
(1) Rheostat to control the FlexWatt's output
(2) 90mm PC case fans (one in, one out) connected to AC/DC converters to create airflow in the cabinets for the feeders
There are a few other surprises involving the construction and finishing of this project that I won't let out of the bag until they're completely done, but all in all I think.... well I think I went overboard lol, but hopefully it'll end up being what I originally intended with this setup.

2: a beautiful piece of furniture
3: easy to change, configure, and upgrade if necessarry
