My Temps

Hi.
Just need to no if my temps and other couple things.
Cool end 81F
Basking Spot 103f - 106f
Nyte 70f

My Beardie usally sits in his cool end alot.A dont usally see him basking either? Hes Kindi been like this since a got him a year ago.Hes 4yrs now.

Other Question..How long should it take for your viv to heat up to required temps??

Hey cavey the temps are fine. And the enclosure should be proper within an hour of the lights turning on. How are you measuring the temps? An acurite thermometer with probe ends are best.

Got 2 probe thermometers in his viv. 1 in cool end and 1 on basking spot.
It takes abt 1 houre 40 mins for my temps to go up to correct temps. Cool end stays at 76f - 79f for a while?

Mine stays on the cool side alot too, but your temperatures are fine.

cool.Thought the temps might not be right with him sitting in his cool end alot.
am wondering also wot type of light would a use for a night time? for when winter comes,my room gets cold at nyte. thanks just put the background up couple weeks ago
