My sweet dragon attacks inanimate objects (funny story)

Poor Vladie. I put his hammock up again last night. He didn't have it for a while. He had pooped IN the hammock so I had taken it out for cleaning but forgot to put it back. I put him in the hammock and just a few minute later I looked at his tank and he was on the bottom of the tank with the hammock under him. One of the suction cups had let go, dumping him on the floor. He just sat there looking at me like "why mommy?" so of course I scooped him up and comforted him after a quick snuggle I put him back in his tank...I fixed the hammock but I didn't put him in it. He stared at it with scorn in his eyes. I was already laughing because of the look on his face. I realized that I could have just been imagining his anger at the hammock, it's too easy to anthropomorphize our pets...but what he did next confirmed my conclusions...LOL... he ran up his basking platform to get closer to the hammock (At first I though, "oh good, he's going to get right back on the horse") and immediately started attacking the hammock. Oh I had see him "taste" the hammock when he first got it for Xmas, but this was more violent! He was trying to shake it back and forth, but of course THIS time the suction cups held it to the glass...LOL! poor Vladie looked annoyed that I was laughing so hard but I couldn't help it. He even attacked it once more this morning when I turned on his lights, I guess dragons can really hold a grudge. Luckily for me he isn't holding it against me that I laughed, I'm getting dragon cuddles as I write this. I had to share as I found this all quite amusing.

:laughhard: They do remember things. One time Miss O(rip) wanted off the bed, sooo she climbs off the bed on my side only to land in an empty trash can I keep by my side at the head. Sometime later she wanted off again, remembering her problem with the trash can, she went off my husbands side of the bed, you guessed it, same problem. She landed in the trash can on his side, at the head. She did remember this afterwards and when she wanted off the bed, she'd go anywhere but the head of the bed and climb as far down as she could cling, then drop the rest of the way.

My Tega INSISTS on humping his wooden log in his viv. I recently put a stuffed animal lizard in their...and he lays on her, but boy does he go to town on that log. Poor guy. Hormones! :lol:

what a funny story!!! they are so crazy! I got Juuji's carrier finally so i decided i would put it in her huge viv with her so she could get used to it...so how about she was blackbearding and biting it lol!!!!!!! :roll: it took about 2 days and the 3rd day i was like okay if shes not okay by today i'm taking it out she was asleep inside it and had drug her blanket in there too!!!! lol!!! the next night i guess she was hot so she was asleep on top of it they are so goofy sometimes gotta love it!

Dragons are so frikin cute! We are always wondering what ours thinks and i am becoming convinced those looks do have meaning. Im sure he remembers lots. We let our guy wander the house when we can and ive followed him to the tub to see him looking up at me with his "im ready" look and sure eneogh i run the bath and he's swishin around like "thats what i wanted". Griffy is also good at getting my attention for food or a trip outside.

When I took this picture, I thought Vladie was finally getting past his hatred for the HAMMOCK.

But then this morning he POOPED in it AGAIN.
He thinks his Xmas present makes a good toilet LOL.
