We found him dead this morning, and have just finished finished giving him a proper funeral. My youngest daughter made him a headstone, and we all signed it.
Jack was a rescued about a year ago and was suffering from severe MBD and malnutrition. I've fed him baby food through a syringe each and every day, and roaches when he was able and willing to eat them. Jack did much better for several months, but became weak and lethargic again a few weeks ago. I did all I could for my precious little Jack, but today he lost his fight for life.
I'm devastated, and can't stop crying. Never have I known a sweeter, more gentle creature.
