here we go, these are my 2 new beardies, i got them 2 weeks ago at the reptile expo in white plains NY

so far the little one has grown 1/2'' and the red one has grown 1/4'' so now they are at 8'' and 8.75''

"dadddddyyy why the camera again"

today was bath time pictures! 12/15/09

(if i had a good camera this would be a sick picture) but anyway thats red puffing up like usual when i go near her in the bath

red, her head was shedding so they took a nice long bath today.

and red relaxing for once!

but then she puffed up after i took the pic cause she realised i was near her :evil: GRR!

reds first shed sence i had her........check out that color after, i hope the blue bars just keep getting brighter

im also looking for name suggestions, i was waiting to see their personalitys before naming them and im not coming up with anything yet. the red one is a female and idk about the little one i cant tell yet. but the red one is very skittish (prob still getting used to me) and the little one is just a cutie that loves to explore and doesnt like to go too far from me

i have no idea which vendor she came from, they didnt talk to me very much and didnt give me a buisness card....if you can explain the setup they had at the expo i could tell ya but other than that i have no clue

they had a few decent sized monitors and had a 6' display with rows of 10 gallon tanks and they had dishes with snakes in them on the table, the cloth and display case was black

also the red ones head is about to shed, hopefully tomorrow i will see some peeling, this mornign i woke up and his head was white so i cave them a bath so hopefully tomorrows bath will get him shedding

I'm sorry to say but that was horrible on the breeders part. Not taking the time out to speak, and somewhat educate a customer on what you are buying is just plain wrong. ......I'm not saying that you don't know what to do with your Beardie, but the next person might not have a clue, and not giving out a biz card just in-case you have a few questions later on is inexcusable, that is why so many beardies wind up on craigslist in really bad shape.

I agree that's why I did my basicresearch and made sure I had the requirements and afterthe excitement of having a beardie wore off I was mad at the fact they didn't even bother to talk to me. The other vendor for the little one gave me a card sure she was busy but made sure shetalked to
me. Also I knew that they had been treated nicely because the lady told me to make sure I give the beardie some water before we left cause she had not had any prior that day idk seemed to me like she cared

Thank you hopefully tomorrow i get to see what's under that white skin on his head but it's bed time for now I'll update tomorrow and if there is shedding I'll take pictures for you guys
