My new little baby's nighttime routine

I just brought home my new baby dragon, Petunia, last night and when her light went off my fiance noticed there were a few too many crickets in there so we were moving things around to catch them. Petunia woke up and ran up the tallest branch and perched herself there as if to observe what we were doing. So I felt bad having woke her up, so I picked her up and rubbed her back (our other dragon likes that) and she fell asleep on my fingers, only waking up to move into the creased part of my cupped hand and then falling right back to sleep. My heart melted!

So today her light went out my fiance was walking to the other room and passed her tank and told me "I think she's looking for you" Sure enough I went over and she was back on the highest branch with her head tilted looking out the top mesh. So I went over and got her and put her back in my hand, rubbed her back, and she was sleeping in no time. I wrapped her in a washcloth now and she is sleeping on my lap.

I just thought the whole thing was so cute and I'm curious to see if she continues to go up to her "look-out post" every night and wait for me to come hold her!

I bet if you keep a routine she will. Beardies are good at that. Mine gets a bath every morning and if I am busy or sleep in I get the major stink eye if her bath is late. Regardless, it is adorable that she seems to be waiting for night time snuggles.

Third night in a row hahah  This is too funny for me. She was up on her lookout post looking for someone to take her out within a minute of the light going off. Maybe she's scared of the dark ? My fiance said i'm creating a monster by taking her out and wrapping her up in a washcloth and letting her lay on me. So cute though- how can you say no to her??

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
