yesterday I stopped by the local reptile store(pretty much the ONLY store that specializes in reptiles that is local to me.... the others are just general pet stores) to get Teddy some live food(they were out of large Dubia(they just had super tiny) and didn't have hornworms in stock.... so we settled on crickets.
Anywho I of course looked at their beardies(because come on! who can resist!) and in a tank were a couple of probable females with this lovely colorful one who was running around exploring and just generally being adorable, she even came over and looked right at me. So I decided to get her.
So now I have a very pretty girl(well... potential girl, bit early to tell)
I have her in a 10 gallon temporarily until I can get a 20 long or bigger
I've named her Arwen for now to go along with Theoden(Teddy for short) my adult male beardie and my 7 zebra finches who are also named in the theme of middle earth(Like Erebor, and Anduin)
here are 2 pictures, please ignore the water stains... I haven't figured out how to remove them yet...
Hopefully I'll be able to take better pictures soon where you can see her coloring, she's quite pretty
