They actually climb up the wood as well...but yes i did at first, but now i switched to only meal and phoenix worms in a container so it is fine...

Believe it or not this cost me a total of $25 dollars and a day and a half of work that is all....

I love it. I think I could this. How is the screen working out? Does it keep the heat in? How do you get in. I'm used to sliding doors.

i made my own screen that just sits on top and then i take it off when i need to get in...the front screen is awesome i would recommend it highly over glass because it get more air flow and also it looks as if there is nothing there its awsome

Any trouble with Beardi gettin his nails caught in it? Oh and if you were to get some wood colored drawer liner you could place a thin strip couple inches away from the floor covering the sides & back. Crikets won't be able to get traction and stay low. The screen can be done with a thin strip of plexi just enough for the crikets to stay low and not climb. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
