So I got a new bearded dragon!

This one is about half grown and very feisty!

He tried to bite me and then kept licking me!

He runs around if I look at him too closely, and he's a bit skittish if I try to pick him up!

I hope to tame him, but I can't think of a good name for him!

Does anyone have suggestions?

Hi there....I don't have any suggestions , maybe after I put some thought in to it, but I'm glad to hear that you got a new beardie. :) I hope he stays strong + healthy for many years to come !

Hmm what about Basil or Freddy? My beardie is a female so it's tougher for me to think of male names.

I already had one named Basil!

I don't really like Freddy... I thought of Blaze! Does that sound good?

Awe he is cute! Nice tank set up too. Blaze sounds like a great name.

Thanks, he's so fiery

He doesn't like to be picked up, and for some reason he dosn't want to eat very much, only a few crickets a day :(

Yeah I'm thinking this is normal for juveniles because my little Jewel will eat 6 or 7 crickets one day and only one the next day. And just keep handling him every day in a safe environment. He'll come around once he's used to you.

Your new little baby is so cute <3 So alert and happy, he's gonna grow up into a strong little dragon <3

My Glaedr is a graduated thumb hugger (hes a little too big for just the thumb now) Don't worry too much about the skittishness--I'm putting my money on relocation.

And I love the setup! So many nice climbing material~

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
