I got him just over a year ago and we have been chill'n ever since. he goes to work with me, he goes to VW shows with me (our ride)

I use just a regular 75 watt bulb in the walmart brand spot lights. Cheap and easy to use. He gets plenty enough heat and he is super happy :wink:

Awesome beardie. Just one suggestion, I notice that you are using crushed walnut shell as your substrate. I really wouldn't recommend that as it can cause severe impaction issues. Tile or repti-carpet would be better for the health of your dragon.

Thanx for the tip. these are actually old pics and i use slate tile now. I have been learning a lot from these forums :wink:

Thanx... he is a ham... yes i had a uvb... it broke... as in shattered and still don't know how. bout to replace it though.

this is EAAK's new 55 gallon tank complete with tile, a hammock, drift wood and a prickly pear cactus (which is in their diet btw :wink: ). I have a kiddie pool out back that he swims in or if its cold out i put h :wink: m in a warmish bath.

Is the prickly pear cactus real? Because if it is I would be afraid of him getting poked by it!
