My Musical Experiment

Jasper's new to the house, and so hasn't gotten a chance to listen to anything but Norah Jones. (Which he closed his eyes and relaxed to.) I've gotta let him listen to my brother's favorite metal band, Kamelot. If he enjoyes that, I think my brother'll take a real liking to him. :wink:

Funny I should come across this post today!
Yesterday, I went to my local reptile shop for some live foods, and I cracked up at one of his Beardies- the song on the radio was Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust", and the dragon had a black beard and was bobbing his head EXACTLY to the beat! It was awesome

Haha, that reminds me when I was in the car with Rael, and Marley Cyrus happen to come on the radio. He got so dark and started black bearding the radio. It was so random and sudden I laughed till I cried. My beardie is above Disney 8)

I tried something with Kaida again last night, we listened to some Mindless Self-Indulgence and she hated it. I swear she was trying to growl at my computer. She gave me the death glare like never before. I guess she prefers music that has a little more structure than MSI.

I love MSI! Lol.

I've found that Reggie prefers My Chemical Romance a little more nowadays. Mum's boy through and through Although, we only really listen to the first two albums. The Black Parade wasn't that great....

I'm glad to see all these posts! I was hoping to get at least some. I think it's a topic that needs to be explored with everyone.

Wow, I haven't heard of almost all of the bands you guys have mentioned.

I usually listen to instrumental music (movie soundtracks) and some rock/soft rock/classic rock. The only time I've ever noticed the beardies react specifically to music was about a month ago. They were both snoozing in their tank (brumating), and I started singing "Gaeta's Lament" from Battlestar Galactica. It's a slow, minor-key song, and they both woke up and watched me while I was singing it.

I'll have to try setting them on my desk and see if they respond to other music of mine.

Scorch seems to like it when my youngest son plays guitar. Today he was playing Dethklok's Thunderhorse on the couch. She seemed to really like it. First she sat behind them and then she decided to sit on his lap. She stayed there for about ten minutes moving around on his lap and then she decided to lie down in the crease of his jeans to take a nap.

I mostly listen to music in the car and weather hasn't allowed me to drive around with Breyas too much yet. He likes having the TV on, though. I hope he likes Abba!

If you think his hair is long you should see my older son. He has ridiculously thick, long flowing locks that would make any girl jealous! I have to keep him under lock and key because he is too attractive for his own good. :roll:
