My Little River - Part 2

So River is coming up on a year old next month.
She has moved into a four foot long custom enclosure that I built from melamine and tiled the floor.

My major concern with her is that she just isn't growing very fast. She's just over 100g, and about 14" long. She has a nice full belly and good fat pads on her tail and legs, but she's just poking along in her growth and it's starting to worry me.

Here's some pics of her new enclosure and her curious little face.

I don't like that she's stretching up to me here because it makes her look thinner than she is, the little chubster.

The way she is in the second picture is good, it shows that she's healthy. I picked up an information booklet some years ago from a vet's office that sees beardies and other reptiles and one thing it mentioned is what vetrenarians look for in a healthy beardie is one that has an upright posture and an alert attitude among other things. Her posture in that second picture reminds me of that booklet I have.

BTW: she's adorable.
