"My head, my hat, my beardie slave" Kenshin stakes his claim

Last night I had Kenshin out to have some "play time" to explore and climb on stuff. He had his harness that I whipped together on and was moseying around. Then he went up my arm and laboriously climbed up my head and perched on my pony tail. I expected that to last only a couple seconds until he decided to go elsewhere but... NO... he decided to get comfy!

So after a few minutes of him trying to hold onto my slippery hair and feeling like he was about to fall off I grabbed my newly knit stocking cap and put that on so he'd have somewhere comfy to sit.

He was as happy as a clam. He was up there for about 45 minutes until I decided I'd like to have full use of my head back (and the West Wing episode we were watching was over).

He didn't want to get off so I had to lower my head to the viv level so he could climb back in on his own.

Yeah... I'm totally whipped.

What did you make the harness out of? If I read correctly that you made it yourself?

I'm thinking of giving Kenshin another shot at "Head Time" tonight. He just seemed so chilled out up there

jacqui778: Yup I made it. The harness part is one layer of polar fleece and one layer of cotton Broadcloth. I hand made it cause it was a spur of the moment thing and I didn't have my sewing machine set up. I'm just using yarn as the lead right now but I plan to replace it with some cord soon.

He really doesn't seem to mind it. Especially as he knows it means he gets to go "exploring". I put it on him with the polar fleece inside so it's padded and won't rub his chest or anything :whip:

Haha that is so funny. Sully has also recently become insistent on sitting on my head. He is also quite orange, as Kenshin seems to be in the pics.... hehe I guess it is an orange BD thing... :mrgreen:
