So on the first pic of the light, the top is styrofoam 1/2" in thick. I cut a piece to match the size of the light fixture and glued it to the fixture. Then I wrapped the edges with foil tape to give it a cleaner look and to make sure to styro pieces come off. Then I cut grooves into the styro so it would slide into the plastic pieces that come off the exoterra screen lids. I put some locktite in the grooves and stuck them together. I added some thin wire to wrap around the fixture and tied it on top of the tank just in case the lock tight ever gives out. Those pics are from before I finished and the closest thing I can get to showing the process :wink:
