The original plan was for my dad and I to start building Rambo's new home in the summer, well... he's growing fast. Hes just a hair away from being 7" long now... his 10 Gallon home is starting to look...well...crowded. I've convinced my dad to help me before summer starts, It'll be a many weekend project...
I know pretty much exactly what I want. I made a couple different models on sketchup, but now I've been thinking more...

Rambo is going to be...spoiled to say the least. I've had him a whole 2 weeks and already I'm in love. Hehe
here's my question.
I've heard a lot of bad things a bout waterfalls and whatnot. I was wondering if it would be okay to put in a drainable bathtub. I've already figured out how I'd do it, but I'm just wondering if that would be a bad thing... humidity wise...I want the best for Rambo. :)

Can you describe what you mean by 'drainable bathtub' for us? Any large standing water will increase the humidity. That's why many people choose not to have water dishes and just mist their dragons or take baths. So depending on your ventilation and what exactly this idea is, it could depend.

Sorry, I really didn't explain well at all.

I'll try to do a sketchup later because I'm not great at verbaly explaining things

The water would only be in there when Rambo was taking a bath, and then I'd open the plug and the water would drain into a bucket in the shelving below. It makes more sense when you can see it... I'll work on a sketchup... heh

Ok, well I can't figure out how to do it on sketchup

Baisly its like a sink basin (modified to be beardie friendly) , with pvc pipeing on the bottom to take the water to a bucket for easy disposal. The water would only be in there when Rambo got baths, easily dried. Theres going to be shelving below for everything. Theres going to be a screen top so that will add to the ventilation. I'm probably going to have vents along the top on the sides too... but I'm not quite sure yet.

I think I can visualize what you're saying. As long as you're only using it when he's bathing, it should be fine. Just don't leave it sitting for too long. Otherwise, take pics afterwards when you complete it. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
