So I just got my shipments of dubias around 2 weeks ago and have 650 of mixed roaches. I am nervous because they don't really seem to be eating much. I have a heating pad under them and every once in a while my space heater is pointing towards them. I have tried oatmeal, oranges, bananas, fish food, etc and while some of it gets eaten it seems like a very small amount. Does someone know why?

What are your temps?

They are eating, its just not always evident until the colony gets really large.

If you are throwing in whole fruits and such, you won't really notice a large amount of feeding, as long as your temps are ok, they are eating, breeding and making you more beardie food. I usually just dump their food in like 1 time a week. Just depends on colony size.

I just make sure there's always plenty of roach chow in there at all times, and put fruits and Veggies 2-3 times a week. I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure they're eating

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
