does anyone know whats a good source of water for the dubia's besides water crystals cause i herd the water crystals ar'nt good for our beardies.?

ahhhh! your're right! i didn't tape the upper portion off because i didn't think it would happen to me! i was cleanin my room and i saw this dark thing in the corner. as i got closer, it was a bunch of baby dubias! i counted atleast 30! i was like wtf!!!

so now i just took the temp probe off since my temps are always in between 85-95. no need for it i guess...

whats even worst is that its really hit and humid in cali right now sinve summer just started. boy i hope there aren't many more that are lingering round the house and that they sont infest our house...

I stopped using water crystals a few months ago and always made sure there were fresh fruits/vegetables available.

I've never heard that water gels aren't good for beardies. Water crystals/water gels are probably the most commonly used water source for feeders, so if there was some kind of harmful effect, it would probably be common knowledge and no one would use them anymore.
Maybe you're thinking that giving water gels directly to beardies isn't good?

i think i ment to say water crystals arent good for beardies. i saw it on one of the fourms.
