I have him for 2 years now, he is 3 years old
And eat sleep perfectly healthy
But very lazy indeed!
I take him out everyday and to the parks. He will sit for 5 minutes and move to a hiding spot. Usually a bush, I suspect if I don't drag him out he will hide in a bush until the next day!
They don't explore and wander around like tortoises do they?

When I let my 1 year old out in my garden i have to constantly keep an eye on him or else he will explore the far edges of the garden trying to see something new and go under the fence to the neighbors garden, so yes mine at least will explore.

I do think they are more vulnerable than tortoises though especially from birds of prey which could be why he takes shelter under bushes, also if he is in direct sunlight for too long he will seek shade.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
