Hi there, so this may seem like a lot but I'm a new owner and worried. So I've had one year old Bert for 3 weeks now, the move to my home was a little long and cold and I'm sure he was stressed. Got him warmed up in his tank which started as having a sand substrate as owner said this is what he has been used too. Owner also said that he believes Bert has started a hibernation, so I let him get used to things like my voice for the first 3 days. Then started petting his head, he was alert but not moving very much. I started offering super worms he took 3 and a couple bites of romaine. He slept for 3 days, then again 3 worms and romaine. Again sleep but then didn't want to eat. This back and forth for 3 weeks now, the biggest thing that has me worried is that he hasn't pooped, not even once throughout all this time. I've given a few warm baths, he ate 12 worms the other day and gave him 2ml of prune juice. I don't know if this is brumation or is he impacted?? Changed to a safe repti- carpet, he has a dual light one side heat other UVB, temp rests at 95. Should I let him rest/sleep, should I still offer food during this time, should I be worried? Thanks a million

Sounds like hes plugged up from the super worms-- they tend to do that - it also could be the move is not helping- - getting rid of the sand was a good idea! How old is he? You might try to boost the basking temp up -- Lettuce is no good to feed him - I would give him mustard greens collard greens green beans sweet potato will help w/ the going to the bathroom as well - i cook it in the mic and give it to Hiccup in small pieces on top of his salad-- keep offering the food -- are you giving him bugs like dubias or crickets? they should be dusted w/ calcium d3 and vitamins 2 times per week - according to age --
