my dragon hasnt sheded

okay so my dragon he hasnt sheded in about a month i realised this because i dont have to pick up the lil dead scales
okay well i thought it was the uvb coiled bulb so took that off and got him a reptisun uvb those long ones
he had alfalfa bedding some ppl told me he could get impacted took it all out and got him carpet
feed him pleanty of greens and feeders he warm side of the tank is 100 temp. the cool side about 85


can some one plz help me im really worried about this

How old is your beardie? Also what is the distance of the UVB to him in his basking spot? What type of thermometer are you using to check the temps? And, how often are you dusting with calcium and vitamins? All those things affect his health, that's why I'm asking the questions. :wink:

hes about a year a lil less
the uvb is about a foot from him the light goes clean across the tank
i powder his feeders every other day with t-rex calcium +d3 every other day

Is your dragon active? I noticed when Sierra didn't shed on time was the first tel tale of worms. She had stopped growing which is a first hint. Not saying that is what is wrong it could be something as simple as not being able to get close enough to the uv. I know I have a 10.0 and they have to get fairly close to that for it to be effective. The 10.0 is the highest around here you can get, the 5.0 being the most common and the animal needs to be no further than 30 cm away from the light....
