My dog is completely obsessed with my bearded dragon. She sits at the enclosure looking at it for hours crying because she wants someone to pick her up to see it. One day I left my house, before I left, my dog was sitting there..2 hours later I come back..still sitting there looking at the enclosure.

Anyone else have another pet that is obsessed with your beardie?

Yes!! lol my dog just started doing the same thing...it kinda scares me though..she will just sit there at his cage twisting her head and crying until i go to the cage and get him out then she'll come over to smell him...good thing is though i got them both around the same time so they are used to each other and he doesnt get freaked out by the huge dog.

My boxer does the same thing. She will sit there day after day, hour after hour just watching him. It's so pathetic lol

My cat loves my little bd. she used to sit on top of the cage all day.. but I "coaxed" her to stop doing that. now she just sits on the bed in the room all day sleeping and watching. Never really leaves. I miss having my cuddle buddy.. but it is also keeping my kitty from biting my toes at night when she wants attention.
I have two american staffordshire terriors as well. One of them loves, not the bd, but the CRICKETS. I'm keeping them in a 8.5 gallon clear tub and my dog spends so much time pawing under it and licking the outside of it. Luckily, he hasn't realized that he can tip it over and possibly get IN IT.

We call it "puppy TV" Both my dogs watch both beardies, and both geckos. Chelsea ( the mom) tries to jump at all three enclosures, but a loud NO and slapping hands usually is enough to stop that, if it doesn't into time out she goes.

I have four beardies. When i got my first two in August, my Italian Greyhound was so obsessed with them. I think he was jealous!! I had to move them into a different room because everytime i walked into the room he would be standing up on his hind legs with his nose pressed to the glass and my beardies would be wave'in and head bobbing. I guess they didn't like the big nose following them everywhere they went. I wouldn't worry as long as the dog can't tip the tank.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
