Wow Lisa, another one? Are they the only 2 that you have that are like that? No matter their deformity, they're still cute as all get out!

giving egg three another day or so. the first egg hatched at day 68 and today is day 69, inc temp and humidity was correct, but they are perky and we are just waitting for them to poo to make sure they can, if not we will have to decide what is best for them. The mother was not ready for breeding when the father caught her and mated with her. She laid 18 and only 3 were fertile. Gabby was given extra calcium and vitamins the whole time she was gravid, but as she was not ready all I could really do is make sure she would be healthy during and after. Gabby is doing great since and now growing very well weight and even getting longer.

Lisa I would recommend giving them liquid calcium asap!!!

Thanks for the advise Lance. I already did along with a special slurry just for them. Using babyfood squash and peas with calcium and spraying them lightly with vita-spray too. Both really seem to like their slurry and going crazy with suspence on if and when they will go poo for me. I am very worried that potty is going to be their biggest concern, next is that GM2's back right leg ends up on the front leg when walking. I fear that number 2 is not going to make it or may have to be put down or have that leg removed. I am giving every chance in the world to these two special babies and as long as they are able to adapt and continue to show no signs of stress or pain they will remain as they were born and spoiled to the fullest like the other dragons I have.

these are the only two babies. I am reserving all medical/health issues for the thread in the ER section, so to avoid confusion of double thread and not to over load the ER thread with photos. ER post title is New Deformed Hatchling. Not able to get my camera to focus properly on zoom for some reason but here are my little girls.

GM1 is now named Pinky as her coloring is pinkish in her back markings and GM2 is now named Princess as she was born with a crown marking on her head, wish I could get my camera to zoom in on it.

this one if you look closely you can see where her leg always ends up with every step so far.

Please excuse the food dish the slurry mad quite a mess,but both will eat indepentantly on the slurry now. Princess had to be cleaned up for her pictures, lol
