this is my cricket camp. Im still working out the kinks but I think this will be a very successful way to keep crickets indoors(my garage) without stinking up the place and keeping the temps a few degrees below ambient.
I took my old terrarium and piped the sides to the window unit sides for an exhaust and then installed a 8" fan on top of the tank to keep fresh air circulating, I sealed everything off so that way no stink comes out. Heres a few pictures of what it looks like. The next thing im looking into is a mister system to drop the temps way down to the 70s in 95 degree ambient temps. Right now at peak daytime heat my garage is around 90-95 or higher. With this fan system the temps stay consistently down to 85 or so.
