I'm guessing he is around 5-6 months. I bought him March 20 so I am guessing he was hatched around 6 weeks prior to that.I bath him about once a wee. Maybe a little more if I notice him having schedding issues. I feed him 6-8 larger crickets a day plus 1 mealworm a week. He also has daily vegetables, kale, spinach, cilantro, tomatoes, sweet potatoes pluss the dried reptie food I keep available but normally he wont eat that. He is getting so handsome and is a very attentiveand active lizard. Some of the lizards are sooo beautiful. Going to be moving him soon into the larger breeder tank. Anyways I hope my pics come through. Wonderful to meet everyone!

He is 101/2 " long with tail. He did a full shed on his beard yesterday and working on his tail. They ARE hugely entertaining! I'm a little unsure of how many crickets I should be feeding daily. Nice to meet everyone!

Well I am not sure at that age either? From what I have read, until about age 1 or 18 months they should subsist on about 80% protein and 20% veggies. So as long as the crickets aren't bigger than the space between his eyes they should be fine. Also I have learned that they will stop eating when they are full. So if Cletus eats more, then you probably can feed him more?

I don't do the mealworms because I am afraid of impaction. So as far as worms go I offer mine silkworms, Phoenix worms and micro-superworms. How many times a day do feed him the crickets? Mine eat protein 3x a day and greens/veggie mixture 1x a day. I'd try giving him a few more crickets more often and see how he does?

Can't wait to see a picture! Love his name!

I m only feeding him crickets 2. About 2-3 in the am and then about 5 more in the afternoon. When I feed him the mealworms I have him tear in half (I usually feed him with tongs) to reduce the chance of impaction. He always has fresh greens and water available. He doesn't drink from his dish though so I usually eye dropper the water to him and spray a little water on him daily. Small bits of fruit a couple times a week. Do u think I should be feeding more crickets aday? I'm afraid of overfeeding but I dont want to underfeed him either. He seems happy and chunky. Thanks on the name :)

You can feed him crickets that fit between the space of his eyes. And you can feed him until e stops eating. The younger ones need alot of protein. From what I've read and with my 8 month old beardie you can pretty much feed him until he stops eating. My 8 month old days about 20-30 medium pheonix worms a day. Plus greens.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
