Hi guys! It has been a super long time since I have posted here. I thought you all might like to see my work in progress beardy tattoo. I drew out the design myself and provided photos of my babies to the artist (Amy from Sacred Rose Tattoo, Berkeley CA: http://www.sacredrosetattoo.com) for color references. She is the coolest tattoo artist I have ever had. So far, I've sat through two 4 hour sessions and it will likely be another 4 at least before I'm done.
this was the doodle that started it all. It obviously went through a few drafts before I sent it on to Amy.
For once, I'm actually happy with my chubby arms cause it means I get to have almost lifesized representations of my beardies. Amy said that I have great skin for this type of tattoo since I am so rediculously pale.
I love the little touches she has added. Check out the bite taken out of the flower by Mal.
