my beardies tail is turning white where it meets his body

soo this is new just noticed it when i got home from work. the tip of his tail is the color it has always been and then like 1/4 of the way up to his body is white where it used to be brown the orange spots are still there though.. any ideas?

Could it be shed? If you post a picture it would be easier to tell....

it might be its day two now and its still like that, i will try to get a picture up later on tonite. im thinking its jst a shed he doesnt seem to tense he is growing )
