Hi everyone! It sounds like you've been eagerly awaiting my next session as much as I was I went in today and did about 3.5 hours worth of work. Particularly painful session as once he had the base scales in he went back over with a finer needle(s) for some highlighting. By the end I was getting goosebumps constantly from the pain, ick! My artist said doing non stop dots was starting to make him cross eyed too, lol. I didn't bring Scully in today because she's in egg laying mode so there was no chance of her sitting still.
Anyway here are pics!
Sorry this one is a bit blurry...
Honestly the pictures don't do it justice, the level of detail on the scales is really amazing. Next Saturday is our potential last session, where he'll finish the dragon and go over and do any touch ups if needed.
yes, i think INCREDIBLE pretty well sums it up- and it's not even complete yet! we will have to come up with some word that is way beyond INCREDIBLE soon!!!!! WOW
I'm glad you all like it so much! I took another pic of the head...tried to get a close-up so you can see more of the detail. It's a bit shiny though cause I just washed it.

Just plain lovely. The dragon looks a little cocky too. It gives it all great personality 8)
Yea, before he even started the sketch, all I had was a really cool painting of just the head, and the dragon in that pic had a slight smirk which I just loved, so I said I wanted to try and keep that "smile" in the final product. He didn't disappoint!
Looking awesome! Can't wait to see it fully done, touched up, and healed after the final session! I really hope you enjoy your new ink and dont be afraid to flaunt it, It's a tattoo to be proud of!
Seriously the artist is freaking amazing and your patience and tolerance for the pain has been soooo worth it. The details in the color variation is crazy awesome! So inspiring! I've been wanting to get my own ink done sometime this summer and this is really tempting me to do it soon.
