My beardie sleeping n awkward position

He sleeps in his water bowl? is this abnormal or what, even if the light is off he still sleeps there, and if its on he still sleeps there, no matter what if he sleeps he is in there. is this weird or what should i do, and he gets really dark, if i have the light on for a few hours and he isn't sleeping and active he is bright and kind of yellow, but if i leave it off for like 3 hours i come home he is in his waterbowl and like almost black

I do remember reading on this foum awhile ago (with pic, even) one beardie liked to sleep in the water dish, without water. Since he likes sleeping there, I'd make sure there isn't water in the dish, especially if he's a little squirt as they can drown in a very little bit of water.

he is 6-8 months old, he has his head out of the water dish leaning on the side, no danger where he is sleeping, it looks so cute when he is sleepin it lol

there are tons of pics on here with folks whose beardies sleep in weird positions... maybe its actually comfortable... phoenix sleeps up the glass.... i cant see how he could sleep like that but he does...

my beardie sleeps verticle for some reason, with her body bent at 90 degrees. I have no idea why she likes this, but whatever works for her I guess lol

Even though he has his head propped up on the edge of the water dish, I'd still drain it dry "just in case". You'll never know if he one day decided to put his head down into the water while still asleep.

Better to be safe than sorry.
