Ok, so she'll be a year with me in dec. and had her at 7 inches total length when I bought her last december. I've been thinking it was bermation. There is no poop in the cage in over a week. She's also not eating. Just staying in the hide log. She is also not loosing weight noticeably, though I think I am going to start tracking that, just to be sure. She may have been on the heavy side before.
Today I decided to remove the hide log. She is now basking normally. She did this before I switched to a 75 gal cage and downgraded to a 100 watt halogen to save some electric bill. The 150 was so hot it was leaving a burn mark on the basking branch and she was never going more than half way up anyways, in the 40 breeded, so I suspect she'll do fine with a lesser light and just get closer, that is what the branch is for after all.
Anyone got any ideas? Could this be a burmation? Is waking her up a bad idea?
