My beardie is being very aggressive

Hi I got my red hypo baby about 3 months ago I'm guessing it's about 6-7 months old now. It has been very sweet until about 2 weeks ago. It has become very aggressive every single time I put my hand anywhere near it it lunges and tries to bite me. I love it so much already and I talk to it everyday and it has a good appetite. It shows it's beard to me and becomes very black while trying to bite me. What's going on with it? Will it ever become nice again? I named it destiny we thought it was female but I've read males in puberty usually become aggressive so I'm thinking maybe she is a he and that's why. Please help. I wanna cuddle my baby.

Did the dragon recently waken up from brumation?
I'm assuming this is a male in puberty and wanting to mate. If so, your dragon will calm down...can't predict when though.

My guess is that your beardie is a male going through puberty. Eren got aggressive during his puberty as well.
