My Beardie, Boise (Pic Heavy)

Hey guys, I used to have another thread about Boise but due to inactivity it is now locked. So allow me to reintroduce myself :lol: I got Boise just after Christmas in 2012 from Petsmart. At the time i'd say she was about 3 weeks because she was a most, 3 inches. Now shes almost a year old and nearing 15 inches! i know shes on the small side but She is completely healthy.

I took this last picture about a week ago. Shes grown alot!

When I brought her home we had some health issues that were easily resolved. Her left eye was sealed shut for about two weeks but daily baths helped her out. I brought her home when she had tail rot . I didnt know what it was at the time so thought it was normal but the tip of her tail is infected. It doesnt seem to bother her at all though. She is in a 40 gal viv with a reptisun 10.0 tube bulb, 150 watt heating lamp and a ceramic heat emitter for night. She has the carpeting as her substrate so no fear of impingement. I've got her eating 75 phoenix worms a day and she also enjoys veggies such as mustard greens and dandelion leaves. So yeah, now you guys are up to speed on my beardie, Boise

I introduced Boise to my cat yesterday. I have found the cat on top of the terrarium when i get home so i was a little nervous about what the cat would do. She acted like she didnt notice Boise. I still dont trust her though haha. I have more pictures. Hopefully going to upload them soon. Happy Thanksgiving!

Boise won Novembers original photo competition!! This was the first one that shes been entered in so i was pretty happy This was the picture that she won with. The theme was "go for a ride" and she was riding in a car.

On another note, I have some questions about brumation? The past few days Boise has been laying down in the same spot that she wakes up in which is in the corner of the tank. She is eating still but she just doesnt move much until i come over to her. Then she livens up and starts running around her tank or me if i pick her up. She wakes up at 9am. I went to church and then breakfast and got back at 12:30 and she was in the same spot. She still eats but not as much as last week. She is also pretty flaky the past few days so idk if her shedding is affecting her mood. Shes not 12 months yet so is it normal for her to be in brumation this early? Is it even brumation? any suggestions?

Its been about 3 weeks since Boise's last shed but her skin has been shaded gray for the past week likes shes about to shed :? hoping it comes off soon. I've given her baths and whatever brumation problems we've been experiencing seem to have ended (MAYBE!!!) but all in all, Boises being Boise. More Pics on the way soon

Nothing new going on. No new pics either. Shes been in Brumation so shes been pretty grumpy and less hungry. she is shedding a bunch but she hasnt grown much. other wise everythings been the same.

Okay guys i've been really busy. My grandparents are ill so we are watching their cat. I have rarely taken Boise out of her terrarium because the cat likes to "play" with Boise but im afraid she may get hurt. Boise's not happy staying in her tank all day. anything i can do to try and make it better for her?
