my beardie ate this Beetle Worm is it ok?!?!?!?!

Hello guys...

i was feeding my beardie today and one of these Beetle Larva got into the mix and before i could take it out my beardie got to it and ate it...
question is... IS IT OK!?!?!?... he is between 3 and 4 months of age...

looks like a cleaning worm, I don't think it will cause any harm. I just wouldn't make it a habit

My crocodile gecko ate one of those before and she was fine. I've had her for 8 years now and she still going strong.

I made a post about these larvae on another forum a while back, hadn't found this one at he time
Anyway didn't get much replie as I'm guessing not meny people new abot them. I was asking same sort of things as you, my little guy seemed REALLY keen on them but i wasn't sure they were okay, I did some research, they are called dermestid larvae, they are not the most nutritious insects but ome or two shouldn't be a problem. They came in quite handy tempting my dude down to eat his crix, no problem now, he's far to busy eating these days
