my beardi spends most of his time under his hut in the dark

he has only just started to do this i i dont know y. he wakes up eats n then sits in the dark he doesnt sleep just lies there the temp in the tank is perfect n iv tried making it hotter and cooling it down it had no effect its got to the point were im having to remove his hut when i get up can any1 help thanks.

Hi, im no expert but sounds like he might be in brumation (winter shutdown) which i believe is normal.
try searching the site for brumation information.

Hello,

Well, at 6 months, he is still a little young to go into brumation, but it is not uncommon for them to go through a slight slowdown though during this time of year.
What type & brand of UVB are you using, is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light & how old is the light now?

Hi, I was wondering how your beardie is doing? I know before you had the Repti-GLO 10.0, did you now replace it with the Repti-Sun?

yes i did he is now over a year old summmit like 1 year 3 mounths apsolutly huge thriving like mad costing me a small fortune in a new 4*4*3 ft viv n doing better than ever thanks had no problems with him apart from he only poos once every 3 days which is odd haha
