Hi everyone, I'm new on this website, ok, il Ffggg to the point, I have a bearded dragon named Sandy. Not sure how old she is exactly, I've had her for a couple months, almost a year, I woke up today and found puke in her tank, I freaked out! I searched on this website for suggestions, I am giving her a bath right now, and I will feed her some greens after, (she is a baby) she has gotten bigger sinse I got her and she is not a new born, she poops regularly and eats fine. But today she puked and looks like it was mostly crickets, I'm giving her a bath to rehydrate her, and she seemed kinda slow and not moving much, maybe not feeling well, I need suggestions, please help, I am a fairly new to this hole bearded dragon thing, and I'm only 15, so please give me suggestions, thanks!

I'm sorry to hear she isn't feeling well. Perhaps she ate too many crickets and her stomach got upset. Hopefully it's a one off thing. Try dripping a little water on her nose (not very much at once) and see if she licks it up. This will help hydrate her. Since this is a sudden change I would go easy on offering food and just kind of watch her for a bit, looking for lethargic behavior or a constant black beard. Has anything changed with her lighting or tank temperatures recently?

Also, what exact size are the crickets ? That's very important....if they're a bit too big a baby dragon can't digest them and may vomit them up. They have to be smaller than the space between your baby's eyes. The temperature had to be high enough too [ at least 100, better at 105 ] to digest food and you can't feed them too late because they need a few hours under the heat bulb to digest their food.

She is doing pretty good now, and I think it must be the crickets, the day before that, she ate a bunch of crickets, and I remember there being a really big one among the small ones, :/ not sure why, she ate it up really fast, and threw up in the morning, I think it was that cricket, maybe it was to big, and last night, I sprayed some water in her tank. And she almost, kinda chased the drops. And licked them. Her light hasn't changed in a while, and seems to be doing fine. She is only about, A little longer than my hand, thanks for the reply. Il try anything to keep her healthy

Yes, the large cricket would be the culprit. Good thing she chucked it up , it could hace caused impaction and partial paralysis. The large prey items can't be digested sometimes [ with baby dragons ] and they press on the spine, causing paralysis. Spraying a few drops for drinking is the way I hydrated all my babies, they learn to drink from a spray bottle soon after they leave the egg.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
