My Bearded Dragon Is Fighting His Reflection.

Hello, my baby bearded dragon is fighting his reflection, he is 2 1/2 months old and his beard is turning black and puffing when he sees his reflection and he tries to fight it. Should I let him do this and is there anything I can do to prevent him hitting his face on the glass?

Simple, construction paper taped about 4" across the front glass and 8+" around the sides. Leave it for a while, it should calm him down a bit.

He's a boy .... and is not happy about the ghost beardie who is haunting him and he's trying to make him go ago.... LOL.

Lots or cuddles , maybe some time out to burn off some of that pent up energy in a safe area of the house (UNDER INTENSIVE SUPERVISION) and as suggested above to get rid of the reflections.

This, so much. My juveniles were fighting their reflections a lot, too. I ended up buying a decal that stuck to the inside of the glass to get rid of the reflection, but construction paper would be MUCH cheaper. He just thinks it's another beardie, and he's trying to defend his space!
