My bearded dragon has a swollen vent and has poop stuck!

Update she is dead. We put her outside like recommended and she was fine then all of the sudden she got stiff. And now she is dead. Thank you for all the help I wish it didn’t end this way

hey , the uvb bulb style you have are just terribly designed. you can take a look at http://www.reptileuv.com for more information about uvb lighting in general.
You NEED to get a proper uvb bulb, Asap and make sure your basking temperatures are higher if you are finding undigested food hanging from their vents or poop. i use incandescants bulbs which also emit heat, but ther important thing is that your beardie is getting enouigh uvb.The coil type flourescent uvb bulvbs can wear out to an usable state in as little as a 30 days...my first Beardies was a rescue that the owners biught everythiung the petstore said to, but nobody knew to take the clear plastic lens cover off that was over the uvb bulb. The beardie got light from the bulb but not the uvb. he contracted MVB. Beardies DESPERATELY need proper lighting and heating and dusting of all their bugs in their early days and it is vital to their development and growth . i hope this helps This site helped me a LOT. If your using a coil bulb get rid of it--- for a 40 + gallon tank you need a 24" fixture w/ reflector-- and a Reptisun 10.0 bulb T 5 for a 18" or higher tank--- if you need more help please ask
