You NEED to get a proper
uvb bulb, Asap and make sure your basking temperatures are higher if you are finding undigested food hanging from their vents or poop. i use incandescants bulbs which also emit heat, but ther important thing is that your beardie is getting enouigh uvb.The coil type flourescent uvb bulvbs can wear out to an usable state in as little as a 30 days...my first Beardies was a rescue that the owners biught everythiung the petstore said to, but nobody knew to take the clear plastic lens cover off that was over the
uvb bulb. The beardie got light from the bulb but not the uvb. he contracted MVB. Beardies DESPERATELY need proper lighting and heating and dusting of all their bugs in their early days and it is vital to their development and growth . i hope this helps
