My baby's tail is darker than his body?

Hi everyone I bought my baby beardie about 4 days ago and I've noticed the past couple of days his tail has gone darker from his body. He's about 9 weeks old.

I don't know if it's normal or I'm over reacting, any advice will be really appreciated!

Looks to me like he is shedding! His tail probably shed already - but the rest of his body definitely looks like it is in shed.

I was hoping it was shedding but there's been no skin in his tank, nothing what so ever

That's okay - it doesn't look like he has shed yet! A lot of times they shed in parts - a leg, the head, the tail. It looks like his tail isn't shedding (maybe it shed before you got him, maybe it'll start in a couple days…) but when their body is light-colored like that, it means they're going to shed within the next week or so. The light color comes from the skin loosening up and coming off.

Like my dragon - if you look at the picture on the right, you'll see how his head and one of his legs are lighter - they were the first body parts to shed this time around. The body turned light-colored about a week later!

Thanks so much for all the reassurance! I googled it before I posted on here and people were suggesting tail rot and other things, got me really worried!

Definitely not tail rot. Tail looks healthy to me. I'm glad you came on here and asked us about it so we could save you the panic attack =)
