My baby doesn't move around a lot when her lights are on.

Hello! I have a bearded dragon that seems very lazy. Her lights turn on automatically (Basking bulb and UVB tube) at 7 AM and turn off at 9 PM. She doesn't seem to move around for a few hours when her lights on, so I have to move her over just a tad for her to even climb her log and start basking for the day. I'm also confused on her diet. She will barely touch her greens (Mustard and turnip greens). For her age I think she is supposed to be eating about half greens and half protein.

Stable feeders: 1 inch dubia roaches

Greens: Mustard and Turnip greens

Supplements: Rep-cal with D3 5x a week and Rep-cal Multivitamin 3x a week.

*EDIT* Forgot to add that she weighs 452 grams and she is 18 1/2 inches in length.

UVB tube and basking bulb: Reptisun 10.0 UVB with reflecting fixture, and Zoo med 150W Basking spot lamp. Under her basking light it gets up to 105F and around it is 97F, Her cooler side is 85-87F

Hello,

Your tank setup looks very nice & bright! How far is the Reptisun 10 tube bulb from her?
Since you are using reflective backing that should help emissions. I always worry about
placing a tube bulb on top of screens since they tend to filter out a good amount of UVB.
How old is her tube bulb?
She looks good & her weight & length look great also. Is she a year yet? A lot of them
tend to slow down or partially bromate this time of year for some reason.
Has she lost any weight or had a black beard at all?

My reptisun has only been used for 2 months, and she is 18 inches and 17-16 inches in some places in her tank. Her weight has been very steady, and I only see her beard go black once of twice a month if shes being moody.

My dragon can be a lazy boy too but has his out and about moments. Its normal for them to be lazy little buggers. I think you may be giving your dragon too much calcium with D3. I used to do it 5x a week too but found my boy was poopin a lotta white. I reduced to 3x a week and things seem betterish.

As for the greens I suggest mixing it up with more verity. More well rounded diet if they have more types of veggies to eat.

What % of the diet is protein vs veggies?

Thank you, Drache613! I am not certain of her age. I had bought her from Petco back in February 2018 (Something I will never do again) and I was told 7 or 8 months when we bought her. I would say she is approaching a year old, but not quite. PS: I will be cutting out some of the screen for more UVB to pass through.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
