my baby beardie wont eat salad, help!!

so ive tried everything! putting water on the green, crickets in the greens, worms in the greens.. everything. he just doesnt want it. if he gets it in his mouth he just spits it out and digs his head in his sand like something traumatizing just happened. does anybody have any tips on how he will eat it? ive had him since december and ive fed him kiwi before but thats all he will eat besides his crickets. i put calcium on the crickets too twice a week. hes about 8 1/2 inches too and doesnt seems to be growing any, im scared something is wrong with him (

Dont sweat it. Most babies do not eat greens.(some do though, from what I have heard) They usually do not start eating greens until they are older. Mine is over a year old, and she does not show much interest in any greens, just the occasional fruit. As long as you supplement with calcium and a multivitamin, a few times a week, and your baby is eating criks, you should be fine.

I forgot. I have read many many times, that babies tend to grow in spurts. I have read that a baby will grow several inches, in just a month or so. Then nothing for a month or two. Then grow again. As long as your baby has food, supplements, and good lighting, you will be fine. Dont worry so much. I was a new daddy, not too long ago. Worried about everything. Just give it a few months. ok thank you!! im just so worried about him so much, i was just letting him run around on the floor and sometimes he just seems to be so lethargic. i dont know if its because its winter time or what. but ever since i first got him he hasn't really been all that happy. i have a 50 gal tank on the way but i also ordered that two weeks ago so im scared that got lost in the mail.. ahh im just freaking out about him. my boyfriend tells me to calm down too but its just so hard. he just started shedding on his lips only.. i dont know if that weird either but ahhh its just so scary

i was just like you i know how you are feeling. the 50 gal tank may be a little big at first but its good to get a permanent home early. since you just got him he's probably undergoing "relocation stress" the beardie world likes to call it. he just needs some time to settle in. they shed different parts at different times, sometimes the whole body in one shot. Dave just shed an eyelid last week.

Just a little heads up sand is usually really bad for bearded dragons, if they ingest it it will lead to impaction.

its not sand, its the calcium sand and it says digestable on the packet. i switched from the coco bedding because i came home one day and his poop was attached to the bedding and then he had some in his eye. he was VERY stressed out about it so of course i just gave him a bath and got it out but it scared me. ive had him for almost a full month now in the same spot and he hasn't grown at all. hes been 8 1/2 inches/ sometimes i feel like hes actually shrinking
