As of Sunday I'm now the proud owner of a bearded dragon! I've wanted a reptile for a pet ever since I was about 10, but due to financial reasons, living space, and cluelessness about caring for them I've never gotten around to it. But now that I'm 25, fresh out of college, and living somewhere with plenty of space, I've figured 15 years was long enough to ask myself if I really wanted a lizard or not 
. Below are some pictures of my new beardie "Dresden", I was told he's about a month old, and even though he's a bit skittish when you try to pick him up he seems to take pretty well to being handled. I'm pretty new to the whole pet ownership thing and have been a bit paranoid about getting everything right (the first night I thought he was dead, turns out he was just breathing slowly in his sleep, scared the hell outta me!). So don't be surprised if I post a couple common sense questions in the near future, I just want to make his time with me the best I can make it !
