My Baby Beardie Care Schedule

I came up with a schedule for keeping my baby bearded dragon (who I will be getting later this summer). I have made one for both summer and for when school starts up again. Check them out and feel free to comment!

I admire your organization! Two things I notice. You should only supplement one meal a day. 5 days with calcium, 2 days with the vitamins. Secondly, you need to allow 2 hours basking time from the time he finishes his meal until lights out. Your new little one will be fortunate to have such a caring human!

I'm going to have to tweak the lights because I bought a light timer last night. It was half off. So now my beardies lights on schedule can be more consistent.

For the supplementation, I was using the guidelines provided at http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html which said, for babies umder a year old, to have calcium supplemented 7 times a week and a multivitamin supplemented 4-5 times a week. I know everyone has the own schedule for supplements, and I'm trying to look at how everyone else does it and then make an educated schedule of my own.

Wow, you are absolutely right! I had never checked that section on beautiful dragons. Perhaps I have misread recommendations on here. If that's what beautiful dragons says, then follow that schedule.
