I just finished the last step for the terrarium I have been working on with my dad! It's 36" wide, 22" high, and 24" deep. There are two sliding doors in the front. I used command hooks as little handles. And of course, being a 21 year old female, I put some pretty decorative tape on the edges 
The top is wire and is on hinges so it opens up. It has little latches on either side to lock it down. The doors are also flexible so they can easily be removed if necessary for cleaning and such.
I painted the inside with two coats of latex paint then three coats of water based polyurethane to make sure it's super duper sealed. I also caulked the bottom edges.
WEE! I haven't done anything on the inside yet. Probably going to make a few basking platforms.
