MVB for Riddick

Ok, so I am thinking of upgrading Riddick to an MVB, but I have no idea what brand is good and what wattage to use. He is in a custom made tank that measures 48x18x17h. Currently he can get within 9 inches of his lights, but that can be adjusted. I can't change the height of his basking platform but I can put the light up higher if needed. Also, do I need to get the deeper dome light fixture? Also does anyone know if an MVB would use less electricity than a basking light and a uv flourescent tube? If it did that would be sooo great.

Also I just got a blizzard leopard gecko, she's a female for sure. I'm thinking of naming her Storm, any ideas?

As a rule 100w mvbs need to be a min 12 inches away from your beardie and 160w mvbs is 18 inches min away but but read the instructions and they cant be used with dimmers etc.Sorry dont know about the electricity bill but there are great for your beardie.
