Thanks too all of yalls Kind encouragement and advice regarding my Sweet Mushu I am over the moon too announce that with proper lighting fixture and thermometer in his tank so now we can accurately measure his tank temperature He is Thriving up until today I was still slightly concerned he could possibly be impacted but he had a nice healthy poop today he is eating both plants and insects he has had no further vomiting issues and he is not at all skittish anymore so I’d say he has adjusted quite well he is gorgeous and filling out finally gaining weight and growing perfectly his colors are vibrant and his demeanor is everything we hoped for He has become a very loved and treasured member of our family and aside from his obsession with television and his anger that comes from us changing the channel when he is watching his shows lol he has literally bearded at us until we changed it back too his favorite sitcom not even lying so although he may need treatment for a minor addiction to tv he is wonderful and I owe it all too this sight in particular you guys saved my babies life and my heart from breaking and words cannot begin to describe my appreciation of everything the people on this site did for me

Yes lol he was watching the sit com mom and we saw that bat geo had a special on called dessert of Australia and we thought he might like it and we changed the channel and he came to the side of the tank stared straight at us and bearded we switched back due too Nat geo being on commercial and he stopped bearding and went back too his spot on top of his house too watching Mom

Was there/could there have been a BD or other reptile or predator species on the screen when he bearded?

This can be easily tested/confirmed if you can get YT on your TV (put on some beardie vids) or have On-Demand service (Put the same Nat Geo program on again).

There actually was another beardie on the tv eating when he reacted this way not that I’m even remotely interested in breeding my beardie because I am not but solely out of curiosity if Bd hate other bds how do breeders get them too mate and do they cohabitate when mating?

It's more the males that may kill each other if housed together. M/F to a lesser degree--more like the male may bully the female.

Responsible breeders introduce them first to make sure there won't be a problem, then put them together only as long as it takes to get the deed done--then separate again.

Some outliers have been lucky enough to keep a male & female together all the time, but AFAIK, that's not the rule.
